To whom it may concern: We recently traveled and had a medical emergency/injury while traveling. I called your company to get help because we had travel insurance with you.

Lindsay immediately became our caseworker and was always available until our problem was resolved. She was calm, clear, organized, understanding, and professional.

Resolution included an emergency trip by ambulance to a local hospital in Budapest at 4 a.m., followed by initial treatment there. When my brother was still in severe pain the next day, Lindsay made immediate arrangements to fly him and our mother back to the States for more extensive care.

I cannot thank Lindsay enough for the compassion, speed, and professionalism she exhibited while representing your company. We will definitely ask your company to insure all of our future trips. FYI, you have insured all of my trips over the last ten years and you will get my future business as well.

By the way, US doctors have determined my brother has several breaks in his left wrist and hand and torn ligaments in his right.

Dear People:

My wife and I were on vacation in Chur, Switzerland visiting my son, and then a planned jaunt into Italy. On the second day, she had a bad fall and fractured two bones in her pelvis. Fortunately, surgery was not necessary but she spent a week in the hospital. For our trip home, the company Robin Assist insisted we have a medical escort. I resisted strongly. After all, an escort to watch my wife walk on crutches to the bathroom didn’t seem necessary.

I was not given the choice. An escort was necessary and after how things worked out, I’m glad I was overruled. The escort, Will, called us and told us what was going to happen and the times for each. When he arrived in Chur, he came to evaluate the situation, met and spoke to my wife.

The next day, an ambulance came punctually, took us to Zurich Airport and the events from that point were really fast and smooth. Check-in, wheelchairs (for me and my wife), hand luggage inspection, passport inspection, etc. went through like grease. Same thing when we arrived in Newark and the ambulance that took us home. All of the things we were very worried about were taken care of.

Will was, through it all, pleasant, efficient and friendly. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect escort given the situation. He made a very difficult situation as smooth as it could have been. His easy manner helped reduce the stress my wife and I were under.

What Will did for my wife and me prompted writing this letter. He is a significant asset not only as an escort but as a representative of your company.
