On a recent trip to Fiji (fortunately insured by your company) I was injured in an accident on a boat. We were staying on a remote island with no access to healthcare so we called the
Travel Insured help line and were thrilled by the immediate and professional response given by Robin Assist. Everything was handled expertly for us: my helicopter evacuation; hospital admission; hotel arrangements for my husband; ambulance transportation; flights home….everything. While we are very seasoned travelers, I cannot imagine how we could have handled the logistics without Robin Assist.

I read that your relationship with Robin Assist is rather new so I just wanted to know what a superb choice you’ve made in pairing with them. As a result of our experience, not only will we always insure with Travel Insured but we will buy it for our adult children and grandchildren as well. I just wanted to leave a review of the team that I got to work with when my mom unfortunately had an accident at the resort we were staying on in Mexico. Sarah was so unbelievable to work with. She’s very kind patient and helpful throughout the whole process. I had to call back a few different times and she was very helpful getting us through what was extremely stressful. She also continue to follow up once she had more information to share with us. I am so thankful for the support and kindness and glad to see that this type of customer service still exists when we are in need of help.

Your staff, from the first call to the transport team droping me at the emergency room in Savannah, were without doubt among the best trained, most compassionate and caring medical professionals I have ever had the privilege of interacting. And, in spite of me being in a cast from ankle to hip, made the transfer enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to all.

I never expected to use my travel insurance, and the past few weeks have been a challenging journey with unforeseen events. Normally, the word “insurance” carries a negative stigma for me, but this company has been incredible from the start. Despite health and post-surgical issues on my mind, you have been exceptionally helpful and supportive. Each call I made and with every call and email I received, every individual I spoke to displayed kindness, patience, warmth, and care, which is truly unique.

When I had to return to the hospital, the company promptly handled it, and they also took care of my follow-up appointments, easing my worries. Though I’m generally healthy and didn’t anticipate this experience, the company’s proactive assistance has been a relief amid potential overwhelming costs.

I’m unsure how to adequately express my gratitude, but please escalate my appreciation to the top of the company, mentioning every individual involved in my case. Every phone call and email has been genuine and thoughtful. If needed, I can provide names of those I’ve interacted with, though it may not fully capture the positive impact of every conversation and every person.
